Home and Away star jokes over "really boring" co-star romance
Home and Away's Ada Nicodemou has spoken further about her romance with co-star James Stewart, joking that their relationship is "really boring" in comparison to their characters' marriage.
The pair, who play Leah Patterson and Justin Morgan on the Australian soap, confirmed that they were in a relationship in July, with Nicodemou calling it "very recent and unexpected".
Nicodemou, who has played Leah since 2000, appeared on the Hughesy, Ed and Erin radio show to discuss her relationship with her co-star in greater detail, sharing that it is far more peaceful than the on-screen bond of their characters.

"I don't know [how it started], to be honest, it was just, we've known each other for a very long time. Like, for 25 years. We've been friends for a very long time," she began (via Yahoo). "It was very unexpected but we're happy and it's really lovely.
"Look, we're professional [so] we keep it [the relationship] all very separate [from work]. We've always been very comfortable working with each other, I mean I don't have to do anything. I just have to listen to him, basically. We've always got on really well on set, and nothing's changed.
"Definitely the Ada and James in real life [are happier]. I mean, do you know what our characters have gone through! Leah has been kidnapped, I can't tell you how many times! She actually threatened him [Justin] with a knife last year! We are really boring!"

Whilst Nicodemou and Stewart recently revealed the extent of their bond, newcomer Cantona Stewart, who plays Perri Hayes, has shared details of their real-life friendship with co-star Ethan Browne.
"I can't speak more highly of him. He's very disciplined, he's dedicated, humble and he's someone that you want in your corner," Stewart said of Browne, who plays Tane Parata. "To be able to walk on the set every day and shake his hand, give him a cuddle − it's insane."
