Yahoo News Home and Away star Rohan Nichol says goodbye on Instagram as Ben Astoni exits

Home and Away star Rohan Nichol has posted a goodbye message to social media, with his character Ben Astoni leaving Summer Bay.
In this week's Australian episodes, Ben and Maggie (Kestie Morassi) depart for Italy without Ziggy and Coco after they got their marriage back on track.
Nichol, exiting after three years on the soap, thanked the cast, crew, and fans as well as producer Lucy Addario on Instagram.
"And that will do us," he wrote. "Thanks so much @lucyaddario and all who sail on the good ship @homeandaway. Cast, crew, fans. Ta.
"You’ve made a few dreams come true for me. Onwards. X."
Nichol's message comes as Sophie Dillman, who plays Ben and Maggie's daughter Ziggy, shared an Instagram tribute to her on-screen parents.

"My two favourite fake parents ever. I love you and miss you," she wrote. "Thank you for teaching me and loving me and putting up with me in the early mornings.
"Don’t forget me when your famous.... again. Love Ziggy xxx"

Morassi previously discussed her exit in an interview with New Idea magazine, saying how much she enjoyed her time in Summer Bay.
"I expected it to be wonderful and exciting, but I didn't expect to fall so deeply in love with the people I worked with. I can't tell you the joy this job has brought me," she said.
Co-star Bree Peters also made her exit earlier this month, as her character Gemma Parata headed back to New Zealand to scatter the ashes of her late husband Mikaere.
Home and Away airs on weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
