Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away's Dean Thompson will be taking centre stage in the UK's season finale episode.

Digital Spy can exclusively reveal a new promo which will start airing on Channel 5 tomorrow (November 7) to tease the final Summer Bay drama of the year.

The new footage, which can be watched at the top of the page, shows Dean (Patrick O'Connor) reach breaking point as he fears losing access to his son Jai after tensions with the youngster's mum Amber Simmons.

Dean also worries when he finds Jai (River Jarvis) unattended at home and questions why Amber's mum Francesca isn't looking after him as planned.

This leads to a drastic decision from Dean as he decides to take Jai away without permission.

Amber is later seen spreading the word that Dean has taken Jai and she now has no idea where either of them are.

Home and Away's UK season finale is due to air later this month on Channel 5. The show takes an annual break at the end of every year, in order to maintain a gap with the Australian broadcasts on Channel 7.

A date for the final episode of the year for Australian viewers has yet to be confirmed.

Madeleine Jevic, who plays Amber, recently spoke to Digital Spy about the ongoing tensions between her character and Dean over Jai.

She told us: "I think Amber has been trying to assess whether Dean is a father. We all sometimes 'in the moment' accidentally manipulate, but she doesn't do it intentionally. She's just trying to figure out whether he's invested and whether he's a stable figure for Jai.

"Dean has a lot going on in his life and she's thinking about her son. She's not playing games with him intentionally at all, she's just trying to cut to the chase of figuring out whether he is going to be a good influence for her son."

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5, with first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR.
