Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
As viewers will know, Bree is currently married to the abusive Jacob Cameron, who has accused Bree of flirting with her friends and co-workers. With Jacob out of town working for the next three months, Bree turns to Remi for support on how to leave the marriage for good.
Remi tries to convince Bree to involve the police in the situation, however she's reluctant to take on his advice and explains that she isn't ready to go to the police.
Things only get worse for Remi as Cash suddenly shows up, responding to a note he left asking for advice on how to deal with Bree's situation. Realising that he's spoken to the police about her marriage, an upset Bree confronts Remi about not consulting her first.
Back at the hospital, Remi attempts to make amends for his previous error by bringing dinner for Bree. The pair are able to make up and Bree opens up to him about her past with Jacob.
Trying to be supportive, Remi's bandmate Eden also counsels Bree on her relationship, pushing her into taking the next step. But when she receives a call from Jacob, Bree hastily rushes to answer it — leaving both Remi and Eden disappointed.
Seeing the judgmental looks from the pair, Bree is unable to handle the pressure and leaves the room hastily.
Later on, Eden tells Bree it's not fair to push Remi away after asking for his help. Eden's comments lead Bree to apologise to her friend, with the pair then embracing.
The interaction is watched by a concerned Eden, who sees the hug as a sign that Remi is becoming too attached to Bree.
Will Remi's feelings land him in trouble?
