Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away's John Palmer, Justin Morgan and Leah Patterson-Baker face a nasty shock next week as scheming Susie McAllister flees Summer Bay with their cash.
Susie (Bridie Carter) has been faking a romantic interest in John (Shane Withington) for several weeks, as she pursues her ultimate aim of conning the Summer Bay residents out of their savings.
Early next week, Susie fears her crimes are catching up with her when Justin (James Stewart) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou) realise something is amiss.
When Justin tries to get the keys for the home that he and Leah have supposedly bought, he's horrified to discover that the estate agent has never heard of them and the house does not belong to them.
Justin and Leah go straight to Susie, who took their $90,000 life savings under the pretence of it being a deposit for the property.
Susie remains calm under pressure, claiming that it's all one big misunderstanding and she'll sort it out for Justin and Leah as quickly as possible.
In reality, Susie is stalling for time as she prepares to make her getaway from the Bay.
Just as Susie is about to leave, Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) turns up at the Palmer house to confront her.
Irene hasn't trusted Susie for some time, so rebukes her for her deceptive behaviour and makes it clear that she's not fooled.
Susie needs to depart as quickly as possible, so she attacks Irene with a chloroformed rag and runs out of the house.
Shortly afterwards, Susie pulls over her car and runs over her phone, which has dozens of missed calls from Justin and Leah.
It soon dawns on John, Justin and Leah that they've all been conned. Not only does Susie have the $90,000 from Justin and Leah, she has also managed to get her hands on John's savings.
The police are called, but can offer little help now that Susie has disappeared.
Will she ever be brought to justice?
