Home and Away's Mali Hudson finds closure after death drama

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away airs a positive turning point for Mali Hudson on UK screens next week.

The popular character has been struggling with his guilt after his uncharacteristic involvement in criminal activity over the past few months.

Earlier this week, Mali confided in his friend and housemate Tane Parata about how he barely recognised himself following the recent dramas.

Mali arranged a fight with the dangerous Allen family a few weeks ago, wanting to take revenge after the gangsters kidnapped his older brother Iluka and beat him up.

The surf shop owner relied on back-up from the River Boys while confronting his enemies, but this had serious consequences when he ended up in their debt.

David 'Dingo' Lewis demanded a favour in return by forcing Mali to hold onto a mysterious bag, which he needed off his hands for a while.

Mali was horrified when he discovered the bag contained crucial evidence proving that the River Boys had killed a police officer. When Dingo and gang leader Rory Templeton were both arrested, Mali found himself caught up in the police probe too, risking his good reputation in the Bay.

Next week, Mackenzie Booth speaks to Mali about how he's feeling following his involvement with the River Boys and the police raid on their hangout.

Mali admits that he went home for a few days and received a strict-talking to from his family, who were highly unimpressed with his behaviour.

Seeing the positives in this, Mali explains that he's now well aware of where he went wrong.

After so many bad decisions recently, Mali reveals that he now feels in a position where he won't make the same mistakes again.

Can Mali keep his promises to his family?
