Home and Away's Ari Parata finally learns the truth about Mackenzie Booth's tragic baby loss on UK screens next week.
Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) is currently unaware that Mackenzie was ever expecting his child. A recent episode saw Mackenzie receive a diagnosis of an ectopic pregnancy after she collapsed at home, which meant that the baby couldn't be saved.
In upcoming episodes on Channel 5, Mackenzie (Emily Weir) goes against doctor's orders by returning to work at Salt.
Mackenzie's decision concerns her friend and housemate Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman), as she has been told to rest.

Ziggy and her boyfriend Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) are both deeply worried when they see Mackenzie collapse at work.
They rush her back to hospital, but Ari is watching from the Salt balcony and wants to know what's going on.

Ari's partner Mia (Anna Samson), who already knows about Mackenzie's loss, soon realises that she can't keep covering up the truth and decides to tell him everything.
Ari is stunned by the upsetting news and heads straight to the hospital to see Mac, who has just been told that she has an infection but nothing too serious.
Ari tells Mac that he now knows about the loss of their baby. Finally able to let her guard down, Mac falls apart with grief and breaks down.

Mac appreciates Ari's warm support, but is struck by how short-lived it is when she later sees him leave the hospital with Mia.
Later, Mac is given the all-clear to leave the hospital. She throws out some counselling brochures that Tori Morgan gave to her, clearly not ready to open up to anyone about how she's really feeling.
Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, May 17 at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
