Home and Away's Nikau faces an upsetting return home after crash

Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away's Nikau Parata struggles with self-loathing on UK screens next week after being discharged from the hospital.

Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) was recently involved in a huge car crash after Mia Anderson and Dean Thompson teamed up to bring him back to the Bay following a row with his family.

In next week's episodes on Channel 5, Christian Green confirms that Nikau is well enough to go home, but he also expresses concern over Nikau's distant behaviour.

Everyone hopes that things will improve for Nikau once he's back at the Parata house.

Sadly, the situation only gets worse for Nikau as he struggles to be around Mia (Anna Samson).

Nikau blames himself for the fact that Mia suffered a miscarriage after the crash. He points out that she never would have been in danger if he hadn't been behaving so erratically.

Mia makes it clear that she doesn't blame Nikau and sometimes bad things just happen. Nikau struggles to accept this and breaks down crying in her arms.

Later, Nikau appears to be on a self-destructive path as he visits his ex-girlfriend Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller) and leaves her heartbroken all over again.

Although Bella is willing to forgive Nikau for cheating on her with Sienna Blake, Nikau insists that he doesn't want to be with her. He claims that he doesn't love her anymore and begs her to stop contacting him.

Crushed by these harsh words, Bella chases Nikau down and refuses to believe that their relationship is over.

Nikau's uncle Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) witnesses their argument and tries to intervene, but Nikau stands firm and tells him to stop meddling in his life.

After receiving some advice from Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) about the situation, Bella agrees that it might be time to move on from Nikau for good.

Bella chats to Nikau one last time, promising to leave him alone. However, she also warns that he has messed up the best thing he ever had.

Nikau is left rattled by Bella's words, but will he realise that he has made a big mistake?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, September 30 and Friday, October 1 at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
