Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away's Ryder Jackson and Chloe Anderson will soon be seen calling it quits on their relationship, as they continue to clash over newbie Theo Poulos.
Just recently, the pair clashed at Ryder's 21st birthday party, after Theo (Matt Evans) kidnapped Ryder (Lukas Radovich) to take him to his surprise bash. There, Ryder got drunk and argued with both Chloe and Theo, before Chloe disappeared.
Later, it emerged that she'd been with Theo all night and, while nothing happened between them, Ryder humiliated Chloe in front of his family the next day by accusing her of sleeping with his supposed love rival.
In scenes set to air in the UK on Wednesday, January 5, Chloe (Sam Barrett) and Ryder put their differences to one side for a bit as they worry about Tane Parata and Martha Stewart, who recently wound up in the ICU following the chemical attack.
Theo stops by to check up on his Auntie Leah and is delighted when he spots Chloe. Not willing to waste the opportunity to impress her, he pinches a flower from the bouquet he bought for Leah and goes to offer it to Chloe, before Ryder interferes.
Elsewhere in the hospital, Martha's shaken partner Alf (Ray Meagher) causes a stir with the staff as he refuses to leave. Ryder attempts to calm his grandfather, as the latter explains that his greatest fear is losing his wife Martha.
During that intimate moment, Ryder starts thinking about his own love life and realises that he must patch things up with Chloe before it's too late.
His plans are thwarted, though, when he goes to meet Chloe and she breaks up with him. Surprisingly, the youngster accepts Chloe's decision with maturity, knowing deep down that their romance has run its course and it's probably best to end it now before they start resenting one another.
Does this mean Chloe and Ryder's relationship is over for good?
Home and Away airs these scenes on Wednesday, January 5 at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
