Homes Under the Hammer fans were thrilled as Martin Roberts confirmed his appearance on another BBC show. The 61-year-old has fronted the BBC One property show since it first broadcast in 2003.

However, he is taken on a completely new challenge today as he will appear on fellow BBC daytime show, Bargain Hunt. The Warrington presenter will appear on the show alongside his co-host, Jacqui Joseph, in aid of Children In Need.

The two will make up the Blue Team for today's episode of the BBC programme. They will be competing against Escape to the Country to raise funds for the BBC's annual telethon.

Martin was feeling in a competitive mood as he shared the career update on his social channels. He said: "Really exciting day because Jackie and I are teaming up for a Children In Need special of Bargain Hunt.
