Homes Wrecked as Nashville Wakes to Aftermath of Deadly Tornadoes

Several people were killed when a number of tornadoes hit parts of Nashville, and nearby parts of Tennessee, in the early hours of March 3.

The tornadoes caused serious damage to a number of buildings and came amid severe thunderstorms.

Police said two people were killed in East Nashville. The person who recorded this video said East Nashville “took a huge hit.”

Witnesses also described a damaging tornado in Germantown, a central neighborhood of the state capital.
