Honda Civic driver flees after crashing into Coventry Primark

Police are on the hunt for a driver who fled after crashing into Primark in Coventry. It happened on Ironmonger Row yesterday (Sunday, June 2).

Officers were called following reports of a Honda Civic crashing into the back of Primark at around 8.30pm. Police arranged for the badly damaged vehicle to be recovered.

Nobody was injured and there was minor damage to the building on Ironmonger Row. Officers are working to identify the driver of the vehicle involved, said West Midlands Police.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to Ironmonger Row in Coventry shortly before 8.30pm on Sunday (June 2) after a car collided with a building. Officers attended and arranged for the car to be recovered.

“No serious damage was done to the building and efforts are ongoing to identify the driver. Anyone with further information can contact us via 101 or Live Chat quoting log number 3866 of June 2.”
