Honey G's recruitment company is worth just £1

Plenty of X Factor viewers have been urging Honey G not to give up the day job – but she may take some persuading if the company accounts are anything to go by.

After stumbling across her profile on social networking site LinkedIn, The Sun has revealed that the 35-year-old rapper’s IT recruitment firm is worth just £1.

In real life Honey – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – heads up ARG Search Ltd, an IT recruitment firm based in London. The latest books filed to Companies House don’t exactly give SyCo Entertainment a run for its money.

The firm has just £244 cash, assets of £1339 and debts of £1338. In other words, it’s worth a total of 100 Great British Pence.

And that’s a long way from the heady days of 2013, when ARG was worth a whopping £13. No wonder she’s turned to reality TV to top up her income.

Still, money isn’t everything, is it? Honey’s won plenty of endorsements for her management skills on the social media site, with one happy customer saying she was “professional, friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work with.”

We’re pretty sure Simon Cowell would agree.

The photo on Anna’s LinkedIn profile is also a world away from her X Factor persona, with her trademark baseball cap and shades swapped for an altogether more sensible look.

Her profile lists her interests as windsurfing, skiing and current affairs, and reveals she has a master’s degree in management from UCL.

Is there no end to her talents? Actually, don’t answer that.
