Hong Kong police arrest organisers of Tiananmen vigils

Hong Kong police arrest Chow Hang-tung, a barrister and one of the leaders of the Hong Kong Alliance, which organised the city's Tiananmen Square candlelight vigils. Four members of the group were made a day after the group declared they would refuse to cooperate with a national security investigation into their activities. The Alliance is being investigated under the powerful national security law that China imposed on Hong Kong to stamp out dissent after huge democracy protests broke out two years ago. ++ SEE ALSO: VIDI9MD2Z4_EN ++
