Horrifying moment live kitten is thrown over wall in plastic bag
Upsetting CCTV footage shows a man walk down a Hull street and throw a plastic bag over a wall which was later found to contain a live kitten.
In the video, recorded at 9:45am on Saturday, a man dressed all in black is walking down the pavement in Grafton Street with a plastic shopping bag in his right hand, keeping his left hand in his jacket pocket. He then hurls the bag over a wall and walks away without a backward glance.
There is a loud bang as the bag lands on the other side of the wall. Luckily, the noise attracted the attention of a man who was working on a car nearby and the poor kitten was rescued from the bag and taken to the vet.

Laura Watkin, whose wall the kitten was thrown over, told Hull Live she was disgusted by the cruelty. Humberside Police said they are reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
The kitten has been checked over by a vet who said she was female and about eight weeks old. Laura has decided to adopt the kitten, who is doing much better under her care.
Laura said: "We’ve taken the cat on now and she’s doing really well. I’m really shocked she survived as she hit a van when she landed on the other side of the fence. We’ve named her Clover, seemed fitting as she was so lucky."
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "Officers are appealing for information as part of an ongoing investigation into reports of animal cruelty on Saturday 9 November in Hull. At approximately 3.30pm, we were notified by a member of the public after they reportedly found a bag containing a cat on Grafton Street.
"The cat was taken to a Veterinary Clinic to be checked over and thankfully it is not thought to have been harmed. Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and to identify the person responsible. This includes reviewing CCTV footage in and around the area and carrying out house to house enquiries.
"We would appeal to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage that may be able to assist our enquiries, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 305 of 9 November."
