Horror on Ryanair flight as passenger dies after 'convulsing' in mid-air 'chaos'
A Ryanair flight to Manchester was thrown into 'chaos' after a passenger suffered a medical emergency mid-flight and tragically died on board. The plane, which was en route from Tirana, had to make an unexpected diversion to London Stansted on Sunday evening (November 10) due to the unfolding crisis.
Upon landing, the aircraft was met by an air ambulance, airport fire crews and medical personnel. Despite their best efforts, the man was declared dead at the scene.
A fellow passenger recounted the terrifying ordeal, describing how the man began 'having convulsions' before being moved to the aisle where CPR was initiated. "He stopped breathing and everything went into chaos," they said.

"A few of us with first aid training jumped in to help and started CPR while the defibrillator was set."
Two crew members and three passengers continued performing CPR for 25 minutes until the plane made its emergency landing in London. Paramedics then took over for another half hour before all passengers were asked to disembark, reports the MEN.
"After about another hour, the ambulance was still there but we boarded again with a new air crew to continue the trip to Manchester, without the man and his friends. I asked and was told that, unfortunately, the man did not make it."
The passenger added: "I was devastated to learn the sad news."
London Stansted Airport officials confirmed that a flight was forced to divert shortly before 8pm because of a medical emergency onboard. Emergency services, including the airport's fire crew, reportedly descended upon the aircraft to assist the passenger in distress.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service stated: "One ambulance, one Hazardous Area Response Team vehicle, one paramedic car and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Stansted Airport on Sunday evening following reports of man with a medical emergency on an aircraft. Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, the man had died at the scene."
Ryanair has been approached for a statement on the incident.
