A young horse was cautious but curious as she encountered dolphins at a beach in Western Australia recently, footage posted to Instagram shows.

The video, filmed by Emma Gibbons, shows young horse Wolf watching the trio of dolphins intently as they swim close to shore on Forrest Beach in Busselton.

She said she captured the lovely moment while out on a trek for her job at Jesters Flat Equestrian.

Gibbons told Storyful: “She is a brave and cheeky horse and was slightly unsure but also curious about her interaction with the dolphins, especially when the mum brought her baby in closer and rolled to show her belly.” Credit: Emma Gibbons via Storyful
