'Hour 7 of Sitting Here': Multiple Crashes on Texas Interstate Leave Drivers Stranded in Snowstorm

Traffic was backed up for miles for several hours on Interstate 10 near Van Horn, Texas, on December 30, after heavy snow led to “several” vehicle collisions and jackknifed semi-trucks, local news reported.

This footage, posted to Twitter by Jordan Cummings, shows a number of vehicles at a standstill along the interstate. Cummings told Storyful that he had been stuck in his vehicle for 12 hours. He had only moved eight miles between 3.30 and 4 am, he said. Credit: Jordan Cummings via Storyful
