Hour-by-hour Plymouth weather amid Met Office warning
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning across Plymouth and this is the hour-by-hour forecast. Things are taking a turn despite the recent bout of sunshine in the city with thunderstorms having come across much of the region.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for much of the country for today, Sunday, September 22 spanning Cornwall to Manchester. It was extended after '13,000 lightning strikes' hit the UK in last 24 hours. Plymouth is forecast to get a heavy downpour at midday before the rain becomes lighter early in the evening.
But things are expected to become more settled in the city later today, although more rain can be expected. The Met Office says: "Areas of heavy rain will bring the potential for disruption on Sunday." Scroll down for an hour-by-hour weather forecast across Plymouth for the remainder of today.
