House completely destroyed in devastating fire

A house was left completely destroyed in a fire in Talley, as firefighters managed to prevent the blaze from spreading to neighbouring buildings. The fire broke out within a two-storey, semi detached property, at at 3.05pm on Wednesday, December 4.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Lampeter, Ammanford, Amman Valley, Morriston and Port Talbot were called to the scene of the fire.

Fire crews used three hose reel jets, six breathing apparatus sets and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire. They also used a turntable ladder appliance and one water bowser to set up a water shuttle system.

Even though the fire completely destroyed the house, fire crews were able to stop the fire from spreading and saved a neighbouring property. The fire crews left the scene of the incident at 8:25pm that day. Join our WhatsApp news community here for the latest breaking news.
