House hunters put off by 'disturbing' detail inside £900k Manchester house
House hunters who have been browsing properties on Rightmove say they are 'disturbed' after spotting a strange feature inside a Manchester home. A detached Victorian house, which boasts 10 bedrooms , has been put on the market in Whalley Range for £900,000.
The large property is being sold by Purplebricks, who describe the house as having 'huge potential for development'. With two reception rooms and nine bathrooms. The listing reads: "A ten bedroom detached property on a huge plot that has so much potential for investors, developers, first time buyers, young professionals and families looking for a great project.
"The property currently has planning permission for three x one bed apartments and four x two bed apartments. This property is spread over four floors including a workable basement. The property has a lift to all floors."

But the pictures inside it unveil an eerie setting with some questionable graffiti, which one Reddit user claimed looks like 'the setting of a horror film'. The property was shared onto the Reddit community SpottedonRightmove, which has 252,000 members.
Sharing a link to the Rightmove listing, @ShouldBeReadingBooks started a thread with the comment 'Ok, the graffiti is genuinely disturbing'.
@Huditut responded: "First two photos, house looks lovely, big open windows and large living room. Third photo...things escalated quickly," as @No_Locksmith4492 added: "This house is the setting of a horror film." @Sweet-Waltz-97 also said: "Kind of worrying that the windows have been replaced by breeze blocks
Other users commented on the almost one million pound price tag, whilst others addressed the estate agent's mention of first-time buyers.
@ShouldBeReadingBooks wrote: "The days of Manchester being cheap are long gone," as @Anarchyantz commented: "I am sorry but how much for a place in Manchester, with bricked up windows, s**t everywhere, vandalised and they want nearly a million in MANCHESTER????."
@Alternative_Metal138 said: "It says it's suitable for first time buyers in the description. £900k for a first time buyer?!," as Memes_Haram added: "Also had the cheek to say it was suitable for young professionals or families looking for a “project” no young professional or person with a family is going to have the time to renovate something like this."
