How's my parking (space): Mystery motorist hand paints own 'disable' private parking spot

Finding a parking space can be frustrating at the best of times - but this motorist went to particularly desperate measures in a bid to bag a spot.

The mystery motorist decided to hand-paint very own disabled parking spot on a street in a bizarre attempt to claim his own private space.

Residents in Worthing, West Sussex, say the unnamed driver completed the work in the dead of night at around 3.30am.

They measured out the parking space and painted the borders white.

Unfortunately, local road users didn't take any notice of the scheme and continued to use the space - probably because he left the 'd' off the word 'disabled'.
