Liverpool are looking to make it seven league wins from nine when they travel to Huddersfield on Saturday evening.

Team news

Terence Kongolo is out until November with a thigh injury but David Wagner is hoping to have Ramadan Sobhi available following the international break. Aaron Moy (groin), Danny Williams (knee) and Tom Smith (hip) are to be assessed in the coming days.

Christopher Schindler should make the matchday squad after suffering a head injury. Philip Billing is still weeks away from a return.

Mohamed Salah returned from international duty ahead of schedule with a muscular injury although Egypt have been quick to insist that decision was merely precautionary.

Virgil van Dijk also returned to Merseyside afters scoring for Netherlands against Germany on Saturday. Ronald Koeman noted, however, that was always going to be the plan and believes the defender will be fit for the weekend.

Sadio Mane has undergone surgery on a broken thumb, making him a serious doubt for the weekend. Naby Keita's thigh injury is a further, more serious, concern. Adam Lallana is edging closer to a return and could make the matchday squad.
