Huge excitement as Fatboy Slim teases Devon gig
There is mounting speculation that superstar DJ Fatboy Slim is to play in Devon next year. Billboards have appeared around Torbay saying “Fatboy Slim loves Torquay” with the date July 2025 on them.
The chart-topper, real name Norman Cook, has not announced a date on the English Riviera - yet. But he is playing at the Latitude Festival, in Henham Park, Suffolk, in July next year.
And a Fatboy Slim Loves Torquay website has been set up. At the moment it only says: “Sign up for first access to tickets”. There are no other details as yet.

Fans already appear to be excited. On the South West Events and Festivals Facebook page Lorriane Stokes posted: “Ohh, that looks interesting.” And Seashell Goodman said: “Booking flights.”
Fatboy Slim plays the Ministry of Sound, in London, on November 27, and then heads to Florida, in the USA, for gigs in Miami and Tampa, before a show in Puerto Rico. He’s then back in the UK, to play two December gigs in his hometown of Brighton.
On New Year’s Day he performs in Indonesia, and then Texas, in the States; Mexico and Brasil before heading Down Under for a five-date tour of Australia.
The 61-year-old - famous for his hits The Rockafeller Skank, Praise You, and Right Here, Right Now - will play a date in France before heading back to the UK for summer shows. The star’s website doesn’t mention Torquay but does promote a gig at Kendall Calling, in the Lake District.
Fatboy Slim is no stranger to the South West and performed at the Eden Sessions, at Cornwall’s Eden Project, on June 15 this year.
