Huge Flock of Emus Seen Running Along Remote Western Australian Road

A farmer spotted a flock of emus running along a remote road near Cape Arid National Park in Western Australia on September 23.

This video, taken by Bruce Wilson, shows dozens of emu chicks sprinting behind an adult emu before veering off into the bush as Wilson’s vehicle approached.

“I’ve never seen a large amount before, always just seen six to eight chicks with their dad,” Wilson told Storyful.

Wilson said that none of the emus were injured or chased, as he is an experienced farmer who knows how to move around such animals safely.
