Huge Lines Seen at London Train Station as Passengers Try to Beat COVID Travel Restrictions

Travelers waited in long lines at London’s St Pancras station for Eurostar trains on Friday, December 17, before restrictions limiting travel between the UK and France went into effect at midnight.

The new regulations would limit travel to only “compelling” reasons in an effort to fight the surge of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

According to reports, flights from Britain to France were sold out ahead of the midnight deadline.
