Huge queues expected in Liverpool city centre as Lush to give away freebies

Huge queues are expected to form in the city centre for World Kindness Day. The annual event which falls on Wednesday, November 13 is internationally observed as a way for people to encourage kindness in their daily lives.

People can get involved by delivering small acts of kindness such as help, compliments or tokens of gratitude to each other. To celebrate World Kindness Day, Lush is giving away bear-shaped bombs to customers to act as a "bear-hug" to those who need it most.

Shoppers visiting the Liverpool city centre store will be gifted one of two available bath bombs - Violet Bear or Candy Bear - while stocks last. One is scented with bergamot oil and blackcurrant absolute while the other has a more floral scent thanks to violet leaf and rose absolute.

Kasey Swithenbank, Lush UK & Ireland head of retail, said: "We’re thrilled to celebrate World Kindness Day by offering our customers a little extra joy when they pop into their local store to pick up their favourite Lush goodies. Kindness is at the heart of everything we do at Lush.

"What better way to spread a bit of kindness than with a free bath bomb? This day is a reminder to us all that small acts can go a very long way."

Shoppers can grab a free bear-shaped bath bomb with every purchase made in-store or via the Lush app while stocks last. There is no- minimum spend, a purchase of any value will qualify customers to receive the gift.
