Hugh Grant to marry for the first time at 57 as he plans to tie the knot with girlfriend Anna Eberstein this month

Hugh Grant is reportedly set to marry girlfriend Anna Eberstein later this month after six years of dating.

The Four Weddings star is thought to be tying the knot for the first time at the age of 57 when he weds his Swedish partner, 39, near his London home.

According to reports, wedding banns for the couple were posted at the Kensington and Chelsea register office over the weekend.

The famously private couple have been in a relationship for the last six years and are thought to have three young children together, making Grant a father of five.

John Mungo was born in September 2012, with the couple welcoming a second child in December 2015.

While Grant is yet to confirm the arrival of their third child, his ex-girlfriend and long-time friend Elizabeth Hurley let slip that he was now a father of five.

“He had another one last week. He has five. He was over 50 when he spawned them all,” she said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

She added: “He's an enchanting dad. Really, really sweet. Having these kids has transformed him from a very miserable person into a fairly miserable person. It's improved him. He's gone up the scale."

Grant has seven-year-old daughter Tabitha and son Felix with former girlfriend, Tinglan Hong.
