Hull City star Jaden Philogene has been linked with a move away from the MKM Stadium as the transfer gossip continues to build ahead of pre-season.

Philogene, who impressed last season in the Black and Amber after joining from Aston Villa in a £5m deal, is the subject of growing interest from the Premier League, according to reports.

The 22-year-old winger is reportedly a target for West Ham and Championship play-off final winners Southampton, they claim with both clubs keen on bolstering their attacking ranks this summer.

City, as Hull Live has reported throughout the past few months, are braced for bids for both Philogene and his Tigers teammate Jacob Greaves, but it's understood no firm bids have yet been lodged for either player. The Tigers have laid clear their stance throughout the past few months with no intention to sell either player unless they make their desire clear to leave.

Speaking previously about Philogene, Ilicali claimed he would not accept 30m euros for the England Under-21 international, while it would take in excess of £15m to prize Greaves away from the MKM Stadium, with the Tigers owner calling on the defender to stay.

"He's [vice chairman Tan Kesler] feeling like there will be some offers coming and I will underline something again; if you ask me, I will never sell them. The only reason (I will sell them) they will come to me and say that they want to go.

"I advised (Keane Lewis) Potter not to go, and if he had stayed that year, it would be good for him and us together and one year later, he could go. Again, about these boys (Greaves and Philogene) if they feel like they're going to play and they're going to be successful for me, their future is more important always above my benefits.

"Greaves wants to play in the Premier League. He's such a nice boy, he just said to me (his wish to play in the Premier League). I love him as a character. He's a real captain. I address him from here. Greaves, we need you. You are so good and please be with us, but if his brain and soul are completely with another club, we will not stop him."
