Hull City will have Mohamed Belloumi in their squad for Tuesday night's trip to Queens Park Rangers in what will be a major boost for Tim Walter's Tigers.

Belloumi, who bagged two goals in Saturday's 4-1 win against Cardiff City at the MKM Stadium, was a doubt for the trip to the capital after limping off just before the hour mark with a bang to his ankle which occurred during his brilliant strike to complete the comeback.

The Algerian caught the eye with a dazzling display to help City come from a goal down to beat the bottom side and secure their first home win since April, and his inclusion on the train journey from Hull Paragon Station to Kings Cross/St Pancras on Monday afternoon will be a timely shot in the arm.

"Yes, he's (Belloumi) OK. Everyone is fit and all the players are involved and everybody is travelling with us," Walter told Hull Live, before going on to say he may well mix up his team selection with another trip to Norwich City to come on Saturday lunchtime.

"We have to share our forces because we have another game this week, but first of all, we want to stay strong over there (at QPR). Could be (changes). We have 24 names in our squad and all are good and that is the reason why we can change it if we want to, so everything could be happening."

Signing number 17 of the season, Joao Pedro, could also be involved though that will almost certainly be from the bench as he looks to build his fitness having only signed for the club on a free transfer last week.

"He's good," Walter said of the Italian. "Could be," he added when asked if the 32-year-old could feature at Loftus Road as City go in search of a third straight Championship win for the first time this season.

There was also good news surrounding Charlie Hughes following his Appendix surgery, with the Tigers boss confirming the summer signing may well feature this weekend when City head to Carrow Road.

"He's getting better. He's on the pitch the first day today (Monday) and hopefully, he can travel on Friday ready for the game on Saturday and hopefully, he's fit enough to to be in the squad. It is a good sign, and it's good for us to have him back, he's such a good guy and such a good player."
