Hull FC winger Harvey Barron has been suspended for one match after an incident in last Friday’s Reserves game against Castleford Tigers. The 20-year-old has been charged with a Grade C Head Contact. The incident is not the clash that saw Barron fracture his skull, with the winger set to be out for around six weeks.

Barron suffered a nasty clash in the second half, with the player receiving treatment for several minutes before leaving the field. The ban, meanwhile, keeps up Hull’s unwanted record of having at least one suspension for every week so far this season.

Tony Smith's side have been hampered by eight bans so far this year, totalling 14 games. There has been at least one suspension arising from all five Super League games so far.
