Hull KR line-up named with key man returning but forward suffering injury blow

Hull Kingston Rovers have full back Niall Evalds back in their starting line-up for tonight's game away against Leigh Leopards but forward Kelepi Tanginoa is out with a hamstring injury. It is the first time this season that Tanginoa has not been in the matchday 17.

Similar to Evalds last weekend away against Wigan, Tanginoa is not being risked although it is not considered a serious injury. Tanginoa has tweaked a hamstring but should be back in time for next weekend's final game of the regular Super League season against Leeds Rhinos at Craven Park.

Australian Tanginoa, 30, has either been starting this season in the second row or brought off the bench to try to make an impact. Peta Hiku and Ryan Hall are now the only Rovers players to have featured in every matchday squad this season.

With Jai Whitbread suspended for tonight's game, Rovers' starting props are Jesse Sue and Dean Hadley, who has been starting as a second rower recently. Matty Storton, on the bench at Wigan, is brought into the starting line-up in the second row. It is the first time since Leeds Rhinos away - a period of seven Super League games - in which Sue, passed fit for this game after a wrist concern, and Whitbread have not been the starting props.

Tom Opacic and Jack Brown are brought on to the bench with George King as 18th man, with Jack Broadbent missing out this time after stepping up in place of Evalds at Wigan.

Hull Kingston Rovers team to face Leigh Leopards: Niall Evalds, Joe Burgess, Peta Hiku, Oliver Gildart, Ryan Hall, Tyrone May, Mikey Lewis, Jesse Sue, Matt Parcell, Dean Hadley, Matty Storton, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella. Subs: Tom Opacic, Jez Litten, Sam Luckley, Jack Brown. 18th man: George King.
