Hull preschool seeks donations to replace 'deteriorating' classrooms
The Gillshill Pelican Pre-School in Hull is raising money for a new building and have urged people to give what they can.
They are hoping to raise the funds to replace their current, 27 year old, modular building by setting up charity events and a GoFundMe page.
The current building was funded by a National Lottery grant of £67,000, but this time they are raising the money themselves.

Having already raised £5,000 from raffles, sponsored golf tournament and sponsored walks, the registered charity is hoping to raise a total of £240,000 for a new modular building.
Sue Dixon, manager of the pre-school told the LDRS: "It's a lot of money to raise, but we've got to start somewhere!"
Sue explained that the current building is "deteriorating" and that money is desperately needed to provide the children a suitable place to learn.

To minimise any disruption, the pre-school plans to replace the building over the summer break, hopefully next summer if the funding is secured.
Sue added: "We are very passionate about keeping Pelican open and keeping serving the community."
The team at Pelican Pre-School are planning more sponsored events and have requested local businesses to give what they can, either funding or items for raffles.
The pre-school's GoFundMe page is available here.
