The Handmaid's Tale is *still* yet to receive a UK air date – and fans are furious.

The series made its first three episodes available to stream on Hulu on Wednesday (April 26) in the US. It's also airing on TV channel Bravo and streaming service Crave TV in Canada.

Following several reviews on UK sites, fans have been left wondering when they might get to see the series, starring Mad Men and Top of the Lake's Elisabeth Moss, on this side of the pond.

The Guardian has said there is a "UK date to be announced". However, no official plans to air The Handmaid's Tale in the UK have been confirmed yet – and no-one's happy about it.

Following the backlash, Hulu Support did respond to users on Twitter.

The streaming service said it "does not have international streaming rights for its content, meaning the service is not currently available outside the US," but also said "expanding across the pond is part of our long-term goals."

While Hulu tried their best to answer fan questions, we still have a few of our own. Does this mean Hulu is going international? Will The Handmaid's Tale ever come to the UK?

And if so, will it be available to stream, or come to TV via a network distributor like Canada?

Digital Spy has reached out for comment to Hulu to try and get to the bottom of this one. And no: we won't be silenced.
