Human bone discovered in Ely garden with police investigating

Police remain at the site of a garden where a human bone was discovered. The bone was uncovered in a garden in John Amner Close, Ely, on Tuesday (September 24).

In a statement on Monday (September 30), a Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at about 7pm on Tuesday (September 24) with reports a bone had been found in a garden in John Amner close, Ely. Scenes of crime officers have attended the location.

"The bone has been identified as human and tests are being carried out to establish its age etc."
