Hundreds of commuters queue to leave Tube station as strikes bring London to standstill
Hundreds of commuters queued to leave Tottenham Court Road station on Wednesday (15 March) as Tube strikes brought London to a halt.
Footage shows crowds moving slowly towards the exit from the Elizabeth Line platforms, on a day that every London Underground line was suspended.
Across the capital, stations were shut as Londoners relied on busses, the DLR and the London Overground to get around.
RMT and Aslef union members are striking in a dispute over job cuts, pensions and working conditions.
