The moment a huge crowd of Swifties broke into song as they wait for an Edinburgh tram was captured on video.

Despite missing out on tickets to the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift fans gathered outside Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday night for the mass sing-a-long.

A video, shared on social media site TikTok, shows the crowd waiting for the tram after enjoying the performance from Roseburn Park.

In the distance you can hear Taylor Swift singing her hit single Anti-Hero and the crowd at the tram sing along in unison.

The staff are highly encouraging, singing along and urging the crowd to keep going.

Edinburgh Trams responded to the video and said: "This POV is amazing. Thank you for being so wonderful to us all."

To which the poster replied and praised them: "You guys were so great! and kind when moving us over to set up the queues! thank you."

"Love it," a third simply commented.

Across the weekend, quick thinking locals have been spotted sitting in the park with picnic blankets to take in the atmosphere and listen to the show as Edinburgh residents said they could hear Taylor Swift from miles away.

Edinburgh Trams have been putting on extra services this weekend to accommodate the thousands of fans that have descended on the city. Trams will run until at least 1.00am, with additional services also being laid on before the global superstar takes to the stage.
