Hundreds Gather on Champs-Elysees as PSG Book Champions League Semi-Final Spot

Hundreds of soccer fans gathered on the Champs-Elysees in Paris on Wednesday, August 12, as Paris Saint-Germain booked a spot in the Champions League semi-finals for the first time in 25 years.

PSG scored two late goals in a sensational comeback to beat Italian side Atalanta 2-1 to reach the last four of the competition.

Fans converged on the Champs-Elysees and the Parc des Princes soon after the final whistle.

Police used tear gas in an attempt to disperse supporters, reports said.
