Hundreds of Homes Evacuated From Flagstaff Due to Tunnel Fire

Hundreds of homes were evacuated in Flagstaff, Arizona due to the Tunnel Fire, AZCentral cited a local official as saying on April 19.

According to AZCentral.com, Coconino County Supervisor Patrice Horstman said that as of 7 p.m. on April 19, 766 households and over 1,000 animals had been evacuated.

Approximately 2,068 people live in the affected area, she said.

Coconino County Board of Supervisors declared a state of emergency and reported the Tunnel Fire had grown to over 6,000 acres.
