Hundreds of Paris-Bound Rail Passengers Delayed by Boar Strike and Power Failure

Around 1,200 passengers bound for Paris from Clermont Ferrand were delayed for hours on the night of November 1-2, after a train hit a herd of boar and then had a power failure, blocking the line for two subsequent services.

Video by Twitter user @seumboy92 shows the transfer of passengers to a separate service to complete the journey to the capital. The same user posted text messages and further images of his ordeal on Instagram, where he said they arrived in Paris at 4 am.
