Houses and structures were engulfed by flames on the evening of December 30 in Boulder County, Colorado, as destructive wildfires forced evacuations.
Around 35,000 people were evacuated and approximately 600 houses were destroyed, according to local news reports.
Video taken by West Metro Fire Rescue’s Brush Engine 9 crew shows the fire affecting the community of Louisville on Thursday.
