Hunt for Arsenal fan after dog dies in savage attack

Police want to track down this man after a dog died after being attacked while out on a walk.

A dog was badly injured in the attack, which happened near Harrogate High School in August, and later died. The owner of the attacked dog suffered injuries to her hands as she desperately tried to save her pet.

Now, North Yorkshire Police have released this CCTV image of a man in an Arsenal t-shirt, a navy cap and rolled up trousers, walking a large, light-coloured dog, as part of their investigation.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "We would like to speak to him after a dog was attacked by another dog near Harrogate High School in August.

"Sadly the injured dog died as a result of the incident and its owner suffered injuries to her hands. We believe the man in the image will have infomration that could assist our investigation."
