Hunt for woman after assault in an Epsom park following argument about dogs

Police are looking to speak to a woman after an assault in a park in Epsom after a confrontation about their dogs.

Police were called to Rosebery Park on Sunday, March 18, at around 5.30pm after a report of an assault.

When they spoke to the victim, she claimed that she had been pushed over by another dog walker following a “verbal altercation” about their pets.

Officers are now looking to speak to the woman pictured in connection with the incident.

She is described as white, wearing a shiny black padded jacket with a furry hood, brown tracksuit trousers and camouflage print wellies.

She also had a tattoo down the right side of her face, a tattoo under her right eye, a large tattoo across the back of her right hand, and several smaller tattoos on the back of her left hand.

A spokesperson for Epsom and Ewell Metropolitan Police beat said: “We would like to speak to the woman in this image in connection with an assault in Rosebery Park in Epsom on Sunday, 18 March at around 5.30pm.

“Police were called to the park following a report of an assault.

“On arrival the victim approached officers and stated that she had been pushed over by another dog walker following a verbal altercation relating to their dogs.

“The woman is described as White, and she was wearing a shiny black padded jacket with a furry hood, brown tracksuit trousers and camouflage print wellies.

“She had a tattoo down the right side of her face, a tattoo under her right eye, a large tattoo across the back of her right hand, and several smaller tattoos on the back of her left hand.
