Key Hunted star quits following controversial finale
Channel 4's highly-addictive fugitive-hunting reality show Hunted came to its dramatic conclusion tonight (February 14) with one key cast member announcing his departure.
After six series leading operations to nab civilian and celebrity contestants, Peter Bleksley announced he was quitting as The Chief following the finale:

"You have not seen or heard the last of me," he presumably warned any future prey.
Let's get to the actual episode! After spending four weeks on the run, only four of the original ten contestants were yet to be caught (Nate, Ish, Harry and Frank) and, in the last episode, their mission was to reach a designated extraction point in the centre of Birmingham.
The remaining fugitives had just 24 hours to reach the extraction point to claim their share of the £100,000 prize money. But with the hunters in hot pursuit and desperate to capture the last few, they weren't afraid to employ some dirty tactics.
Towards the beginning of the episode, the hunters were fortunate enough to stumble upon and capture Ish, who separated from his best friend Nate in last week's episode.

Once in their custody, the hunters tried to trick Ish into telling them where Nate's extraction point was. But even after offering him a hefty some of bribe money, Ish still remained tight-lipped.

But despite Ish's loyalty, Nate was still unable to evade the hunters as they eventually caught him on his way to the extraction point.
Harry's capture soon followed, leaving his brother Frank as the last remaining fugitive.

Frank got agonisingly close to reaching the extraction point on top of a multi-storey car park, but was eventually surrounded by the hunters and caught – meaning there were no winners of this year's series.
But with the hunters seemingly being aware of where the extraction point was, viewers couldn't help but argue that the fugitives had an 'impossible' task on their hands.
Those poor boys. The last 3 truly deserved to win. They stood no chance, the extraction point was utterly ridiculous. The whole thing was a total fix, you can't possibly be proud of capturing them in this way. Absolutely disgusting!

@Channel4 @Hunted_HQ . The end and extraction point is unfair after they’ve succeeded to evade til the last day. City centre car park tonight . Fixed. Didn’t stand a chance. Spoiling a once good show #Hunted

That was a BS finish. Even ignoring the ludicrous way by which they discovered the extraction point, once they'd done so the contestants had literally no hope of winning. Pretty ridiculous. #Hunted

Worst series of #hunted yet!! Totally unfair to have an extraction point where cctv is covering every angle feel sorry for frank and Nate they deserved to win

#hunted the only season where the extraction point was in a city #notfair

Isnt it cheating if you literally just sit at the extraction point... like what are the contestants supposed to do? Have a massive game of tag on the roof whilst the helicopter lands? #hunted
