Flooding was reported in Honduras as Hurricane Eta made landfall in Central America on November 3.
According to reports, the storm came ashore in Nicaragua with sustained winds of 110 mph. To the north, in Honduras, footage shared by the country’s national police on Tuesday shows strong waves in the coastal area of Puerto Lempira.
Hundreds of Hondurans were evacuated following heavy rainfall and flooding in the north of the country, local media reported.
