Hurricane Maria's Waves Slam NC Fishing Pier

Waves slammed Avalon Fishing Pier in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, on Tuesday, September 26, with Hurricane Maria offshore stirring the surf. Parts of the Outer Banks expected significant storm surge on Tuesday.
