Hyde Park Gun Salute Marks the Official Proclamation of King Charles III

A 41-gun salute, fired by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, was heard at Hyde Park, in London, England, on Saturday, September 10, to mark the official proclamation of King Charles III as king.

Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully at Balmoral on Thursday afternoon, according to the Royal Family.

Video posted by @Tottenham_Feed, which they said was filmed in London, on Saturday, shows the gun salute. According to official information from the Royal Family, an extra 20 rounds were fired in addition to the “basic salute” of 21 as Hyde Park is a Royal Park.
