Ms Kirby if what you say is true and (heaven forfend) not politically motivated then do explain why the NHS has just purchased 10,000 doses of that very same Drug. The only alternative explanation I have to assume is there's been a Top Secret countrywide outbreak of Malaria in the UK?

Why have NHS frontline staff just been approved use? Could it maybe be because it IS effective when used as a preventative and the MSM reaaaally don't want Trump to be right about anything?

Stop all the politics in medicine. hydroxychloroquine is an anti viral med. You take it when you are at the early stages of diagnosis not when you are weeks into illness or dying. The research quoted are all done on very sick patients. Too late for an anti viral to work!

hydroxychloroquine + zinc was made famous by a doctor who gave it to patients early. No reasearch paper has simulated this exact scenario yet.

The point is it may prevent virus impact. Not cure it otherwise why bother with billions spent on vaccines.

They are talking about the efficiency of Chloroquine as a TREATMENT for people who already have symptoms and are hospitalised. Trump, and others, are taking it as a possible prophelaxis. That should have been made abundantly clear in this report, but it wasn't because they used it as yet another excuse to have a go at Trump.

US president Donald Trump has no medical experience, he's not a doctor or scientist, therefore I WILL NOT listen to ANY of his advice.

    See crow baby fly.
....and yet the NHS are going to give it to front line workers in the near future.

All Trump has to do is say "It does not work, don't bother" and the media will hail it as the new superdrug and call on the president to start doling it out.

And yet numerous other studies say just the opposite.

It’s almost as if, just because Orange Bad Man said it, some people just can’t bear it to be true.
