Patricia Doherty

Patricia Doherty, of Great Harwood, passed away on May 12, aged 80 years.

Pat started her working life at Mullards, she then worked at Highams, Rishy Crisps, Home Help and retired from her working life as a janitor at St Johns Primary School in Great Harwood.

She liked socialising with family and friends, Bingo and holidays all over the world.

She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed.

She leaves behind her dearly loved husband Michael, her much-loved son Peter and daughter-in-law Leanne and her loved grandson Oliver, she was dearly loved and will be sadly missed.

A service and committal will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday, May 29 at 3pm. Family flowers only please.

Margaret Dean

Margaret passed away aged 95 years on Sunday, May 5.

Daughter of the late Lilian Alice and Herbert Holden, Margaret was the wife of the late Harry.

She was the much loved grandma of the late Adam and mother-in-law to the late Dan.

Margaret leaves daughter Janet, granddaughter Fleur, and will be sadly missed.

She dedicated her life to her family and was a good friend to many.

Margaret liked nothing better than family holidays and gatherings and visits from her nieces and nephews.

She was loved and respected by all who knew her and her passing marks the end of an era.

The service will take place on Tuesday, May 28 at Accrington Crematorium at 1.40pm.

Donations can be made to The East Lancashire Hospice.
