These two automakers could be a match made in heaven.
Take one of the world's most successful automakers and pair it with a company with plenty of forward-thinking vision. What do you get? Apparently, a game-changing all-electric halo sports car that could become a halo car for the Hyundai N performance brand.

We're very excited about the prospects related to the recently announced partnership between Korean automaker Hyundai and Croatia-based supercar maker Rimac Automobili. This is primarily due to the fact that Hyundai's European design chief Thomas Beurkle revealed that an electric, high-performance halo car is in the works.
Hyundai/Kia will invest some £70 million in Rimac. This is all part of an initial push that will lead to a Hyundai N electric sports car and potentially a Kia fuel- cell vehicle. Beurkle told Automotive News Europe:
"We have to speak to people who want to be advanced, who want to lead in terms of taste and style and also being less conventional. It will be a real challenge for the design department to work on this."
However, it's still very early in the game. Thus, no official decisions have been established at this point. The article admits that Beurkle didn't specify if this car would be a true hypercar/supercar, or something more mainstream.
Despite the fact that this partnership is brand new, and its publicized plans are sparse right now, what do you think? We'd love to hear from you in our new comments section below.
